First Grade Thanksgiving Feast

This might be one of those "now you see it, now you don't" posts, as I'm not sure about including images of other people's children here.  Little Lad's teacher assured me that every child in her class was "photo okay," but perhaps not for an International Blog!  Still, I wanted the grandmas to see this (especially if LL takes my advice someday and marries the cutie pie in picture #2).  Oh, and the party was a blast! Still marveling at those ingenious turkey cookies...

Looks like a good party too. Did they make their own tunics?

Better get in quick for a comment then - how fab do they look? I think Little Lad is having a blast, no?

What a fab party!

We have several pictures of me in vests just like that from school Thanksgivings. We used to make them from paper grocery sacks. Do any of the big supermarkets still do paper sacks? Oooh I feel old now!

Little lad looks like he is having a great time at school. That must make you feel pretty good about your decision. I love their tunics, hats, placemats, etc. What a lovely tradition you guys have in Thanksgiving. xx
